You can’t just say, 3 strikes and you’re out, you’re right. But if it’s not working, you shouldn’t need to forgive them a second or a third time, you should just be able to be honest with yourself and say, maybe this isn’t working. Because things don’t. And you’ll be upset about it for a while but if it’s meant to be it’ll come back to you. But don’t be scared to let it go. Don’t settle with anything less than the standards you hold for yourself.
